Pot size directly affects root development. Choose a diameter about 2-3 cm smaller than the plant crown; for depth, shallow-rooted plants (succulents, spider plants) suit shallow pots while deep-rooted plants (roses, tomatoes) need pots deeper than 25 cm.
When repotting, go up only 3-5 cm in diameter each time — an oversized pot holds excess water and causes root rot. Our series No.2-31 covers 8-60 cm to upgrade step by step.
